Book 03/06 (Current Version: Prototype - Version 1.0) This story/fanfiction is a 'what if scenario' within the Sci-Fi videogame series known as Halo and is based on an original character named 'Lieutenant Serenity McKnight' that partners with the legendary Master Chief himself, after the UNSC Pillar of Autumn had escaped a Halo Ring known as Installation 04 by the help of a mysterious alien of myth and legend called a Forerunner. The UNSC and their newest ally embark on a heavy defensive throughout Earth against the enemy, protecting humanities home planet at all cost. Lieutenant Serenity McKnight and her brothers and sisters in arms do their best to make the best of the war at the African front nearing New Mombasa. Doing so until an unknown mission would begin, deep in the jungle. The story is a 'reimagining' of Halo and is non-canon and is to be not taken seriously as this was an idea created back when I first played the games. Combat Evolved is the first book of my main series known as 'Halo Battle Buddies' and will lead up to the first game and beyond. This is a fanfiction story about the new popular Bungie/Activision game Destiny. I was just an average guy, working on Spire-Its (spirits), a flying helper that helped me do things that I told it to do. It was kind of like a superhuman, but wasn't. Later on, it hurt people. It was too strong. It mass produced by its self. I needed to somehow kill it before it killed all of man kind. Sadly, we didn't get the job done in time, and it started killing. An elite team was formed to kill it off, and I was the captain. We were called Guardians. We were the group that needed to guard the human race as we knew it. Now, the Spire-Its control 1/2 the population, kidnaping the humans that the guardians were supposed to keep safe, and turning them into Fallen Spire-Its. Others that were kidnapped, didn't live, or weren't even kidnapped , but killed as soon as the Spire-Its saw them. Those at risk were the Guardians. We made new helpers years later. They were known as Ghosts.. This is my story.
