Season 16 follows what comes after the ending that never should have been. Hunts return to the road, old wounds refuse to stay buried, and the bunker slowly fills again with something it almost lost: family. For Dean and Cas, it is also the season where silence finally breaks, where the words once left unsaid finally find their way home, and where love becomes something neither of them has to hide. Brandy and Mike now decide to take the few living children in her class and go out side of the vault to rebuild their life in the post-apocalyptic world around them.
