You think Santa Claus can't go around the world every year in just one night? Akira has to go around the Prime Meridian once each night. Seventeen-year-old Akira Osei lives in the quiet town of Tema, Ghana, but his life is anything but ordinary. As the latest in a long line of Osei women, he bears the impossible duty of guarding the boundary between the human and the fae worlds. This book goes out to someone that I really miss. These are the things I wanted to tell him all the time, but I know it doesn't matter that much to him. after all we lost communication a long time ago.

Life is full of ups and downs. It takes its turns for the worst's, and then it rises to its peak. Unfortunately, not everyone feels the ride is worth while. Forgetting the past can be harder than it seems. Accepting the present can be a simple act of bravery. Learning to move on, into the future can hold the most courage in an entire lifetime. The past, the present, and the future... is all about 'Learning to Live'.

Life always has a way of surprising us in so many ways. She would have been more carefree earlier had she known life's surprises. Had she known what life wanted to teach her later, she would've enjoyed earlier. Had she known how much she'll miss her smile, she would've laughed more. Life probably never let her be what she was. She never knew what she was capable of. "I still love you, and will always do. No matter wherever you are, you'll always have my heart. No matter how much it hurts, I'll always love you..."
