She had nothing to lose, what did it matter if she were being led to her death? But this year was different. The 50th Hunger Games, as the second Quarter Quell, had two rule changes. First, there would be four tributes from each District instead of two. And second, so long as they're from the same District, there could be two victors. Astraea, despite having nothing and not wanting to go back to living the way she did, found a spark deep within her. A spark that wanted to prove that District Twelve could produce victors. A spark that wanted to prove that despite being a little orphan girl, she could win. With her steady alliance with Adastros Monroe, her on and off friendship with Maysilee Donner, and the refusal to have anything to with Haymitch Abernathy, Astraea finds the odds slowly beginning to tilt in her favor. - - - - I had this book made before 'Sunrise On The Reaping' came out, so not everything will be the same as in the book.
