I was going to call this 'Quantum Poetry' or something that suggested that there was an ambiguity attached to the writing. More than that, I want to explore notions of why we think things exist as they are - an existential view, reflected against how our objective quest for reality is progressing. We live in a world where gaps in information are being exploited and where vacuums of understanding are being filled with dangerous ideas, so it is becoming harder to express objective truths when reductionist views prevail. How do we reconcile these conflicts with life and death?

The comforting thing about this is that people were able to overcome it in the past with much less knowledge and technology than we have now and if they could so then can we.

this poem is about how we mistreat the earth and disregard the fact that the things we're destroying and depriving (the forgotten things) are the things that keep the world working, the things that give us life. but yet, we're too caught up in our own problems so we forget this. and as we've seen, it's taken a toll on the environment.
