My eyes are closed, I can hear humming birds chirping and the waves on the beach. I open my eyes, to only see black. This time I don't hear humming birds, I hear crows. I can hear the sound of thunder and drops of rain. Each drop of that rain would make a really loud bang, but it was light too. All I see is black, I assume that my mom walked into my room to turn off the lights, but I'm not in my room.

When Hailey Evans and her family move to an old house in Oak Harbor, Washington, they hope for a fresh start. But lurking at the end of the upstairs hallway is a towering, dust-covered grandfather clock-one that seems to tick louder than it should, its midnight chimes echoing through the walls. Then the nightmares begin. Each night, as the clock tolls, Hailey is trapped in horrifying visions-drowning, being buried alive, chased by faceless figures. The number of chimes matches the escalating terror of her dreams. As reality begins to blur, she uncovers the house's chilling past: a missing boy, a whispered curse, and a dark entity feeding on fear. With time running out, Hailey must face her deepest nightmares and unravel the clock's sinister secrets before the twelfth toll. If she fails, she'll be trapped forever-just like those before her. But even if she survives, will the horror truly be over? A spine-chilling blend of horror, mystery, and psychological suspense, Nightmare Struck Twelve will keep you awake long after the clock strikes midnight.

I am here to tell you a story. A story that will torture your thoughts by day and poison your dreams by nyght. Though I will do my best, there are no words that can be written nor brush strokes laid onto a canvas that can describe the stark and utter horror of the nyght I 'died'. To some, I might have been a simple dream. A fallen angel sent to Earth though the paralysing darkness. But on that fateful day, my dreams were ripped apart and taken away from me. My innocent dreams, though reached through malevelent means, were turned into a single blood-red nyghtmare. But, perhaps I should start from the beginning before I tell the end?
