Burke Devlin has been presumed dead for nearly four years, burned to death in a plane crash in the Amazon rainforest. He has taught himself to walk again and dreams of going home. Towards the end of his rehab period, he accepts the invitation of his doctor's father-in-law to recuperate at a luxurious San Luis villa in Brazil. While Burke tries to ready himself psychologically to return home to Collinsport, he finds himself in a household where someone is trying to murder his host. This is an excerpt from my 100-chapter novel, Blood Levy. I just don't think there are readers on this site so I settled for posting only this excerpt. I'd love to be proven wrong.
