A tribute to the hero who laid his life on May 1st , 2018. I have published this to lessen the weight of the loss. This is a custom made scence and is not what exactly happened in the books. It is based on my imagination.

(This is not my original idea. This is someone else's idea, specifically the Instagram user, @mini.rushman_02 she has given me permission to do this.) Leo finds himself coping with Jason's death by throwing himself into inventing. He can't stop or he'll break down. The only person who can even attempt talking to him is Calypso, who lives in Bunker 9 with him. Sometimes he goes without sleeping for days at a time- Calypso once found out he was awake for 5 days working before demanding he sleep at least 3 hours. He feverishly obsesses over what he could have done wrong, what actions could've saved his best friend. Someone who he loved so deeply. He thinks about this often, so intensely that he begins to work on his next project. He KNOWS he's figured out the mechanics, he just needs to build it. It's so very dangerous though, so he hasn't told anyone about it, not even Calypso. But he knows he can do it, build it.... a time machine.
