A long time ago, an employee and his boss shared a kiss... ~ This takes place years before Burns To Smithereens. In the first chapter Mr. Burns implies that he and Smithers had at one point shared a kiss. This was in reference to their kiss in "Lisa the Skeptic", but I figured it was vague enough that I could write a loose prequel chapter based on the implication.

Waylon Smithers had known Monty Burns for as long as he could remember. It was not until recently that he realized that he had developed feelings for his boss. But these feelings just couldn't be mirrored. It was impossible. One night, Waylon decides to drown his sorrows in the local bar, and meets Moe Szyslak, the bartender. The two create a friendship which quickly leads to something more. But did Smithers really love Moe? "Lock the doors and close the blinds, cause kid, "We're going for a ride." HEAVY TRIGGER WARNING: This book has several themes of depression, drinking, self-harm, suicide, and r*pe. I am not glorifying these subjects at all. A/N: I do not own the Simpsons, or any of the sources referenced in this book. This is merely a fanfiction.

When Smithers finally has enough of his boss, Mr Burns, he leaves, but when his new job takes him back to Springfield after so many years, everything changes...Will he be able to cope with the change?

[One-shot] Monty worries he'll never find anyone, having been discouraged from years of failure to find his match. At this point, he's so close to accepting he's meant to be alone. He's not. A soulmates au, a world in which people stop physically ageing at 30 and find their soulmates through way of a mutual, euphoric touch. (Also on Ao3)

"We'll never grow old together because you'll never grow old to me." Mr. Burns has a secret. Despite his well-known hatred for all people, he's fallen in love. He's decided to keep his crush a secret due to his experiences with Homophobia. Meanwhile, Smithers has found himself in love with his boss, a man who's cold-hearted. Smithers knows that he doesn't have a chance, but he can't help his feelings. What happens when the two find out about each other's feelings.
