"What'cha looking at?" I asked, in a cheeky tone. "Uh.....nothing......you just look nicer, that's all...." Mattias muttered. I grinned smugly. That's right, Mattias - never judge people on their first appearance. Liz is on her way up to a swim carnival in the city when her family is forced to stay for a few days at a famers house. At first, she is rudely ignored by the two sons, and decides to ignore them back.... but then she finds herself falling for one of them. Does her really like her back? And in the end, is it worthwhile for her to get emotionally invested? Read on and find out! ⚠ Short Disclaimer⚠ I wrote this whole plot when I was about 15-16, so my age will be reflected in the writing style & quality of this story. This is written from a romanticised viewpoint of a teenage girl who was living in the country at the time. That's apparently where I was at this time in my emotional maturity (and yes, I may have known a boy a bit like Mattias). So, bear with me - you've been warned. Buckle up and jump on board if you're ready to enjoy a classic, cheesy country romance with a short plot twist!

Snadger Smith was born in the 1890s in Central Victoria, Australia. The son of a miner and the great grandson of families that emigrated from the United Kingdom and Ireland. Snadger joins the Australian Infantry Forces in 1915 and sees action on the Western Front in France and Belgium until 1919. He makes friendships in the war but tragedy will follow him throughout his time overseas. He returns to Australia after the war and becomes a recluse and a miner/fossicker in the goldfields of Central Victoria. He struggles with post traumatic stress and guilt. By chance he meets a young country boy from town and the two become unlikely friends. Through their friendship the boy learns about life and the old man finally learns to forgive himself.

Danielle Marcus, Brian Thomas, Sophia Elliot, Amy Smith, Liam Wright, Alec Walker and Ella Fitzgerald are planning the best week of their lives. Not that they know it, all seven teenagers are endeavoring for a fun packed week camping out in the Bush. They plan on drinking, on playing, and being downright bad. But the bond that they find is not expected. They end up seeing through facades, and into the darkest parts of each other. Tragedy and loss is more evident than ever. But seven teenagers that barely know each other find themselves considering each other as their everything. The combination of the bad girl, the athletic boy, nerdy girl, New chick, possibly gay guy, the player, and the country girl is interesting. They have gone to school together, and they know each other, but how well? What they take away from they're small slice of heaven is what matters, and how it will alter the rest of there lives. How ever short they may be.
