Raised by the influential Kouga household to become one of their samurai who fight for honor, Kouga Ryuichi was a peaceful and promising swordsman who vowed to wield his sword to protect his town and family he loved from any impending danger. However, a series of unfortunate events happened in one fateful day, and he lost everything he had held dear: his dear family, his loving father, his beloved brother, and his peaceful town. The young samurai who once sought peace turned mad with rage, as he vowed vengeance upon those who took away everything from him as he escaped with few of his friends and servants to the open sea. But fate would again play its hand against them, and Ryuichi finds himself along with two of his faithful friends: the prodigy blacksmith Gou and the herbalist Asami, en route to England to be sold as servants. As despair finally sunk in and all hope was lost, a young man, riding a majestic horse and wielding a rapier as dazzling as the morning sun, came across to their rescue. However, this savior of theirs has something more than what meets the eye and Ryuichi finds himself intrigued with the young yellow-haired man, who calls himself Johannes of Arc. Will our young samurai finally find his peace on foreign land, or return to exact vengeance on his homeland? A tale of knights, betrayal, romance, and honor is about to unfold.
