In his previous life, Ethan Vale was the biological son of a wealthy family, yet he was treated like an outsider. His parents and three sisters always chose their adopted son, Julian, believing him to be kind, intelligent, and the reason behind the family's success. No matter how much Ethan tried to prove himself, Julian always managed to steal his achievements and turn the family against him. Eventually, Ethan was forced to take the blame for a crime he didn't commit and spent five miserable years in prison, where he was beaten, starved, and forgotten. He died with nothing-not even a family willing to claim his body. But fate gave him another chance. Ethan was reborn before everything went wrong. This time, he refused to beg for love, recognition, or acceptance. If his family chose Julian over him, then so be it. He would choose himself. With the knowledge and experience from his previous life, Ethan began his own empire. They chose him. So Ethan chose himself.

I want to create this story from my imagination because no one could ever have a life like this. So, I'm making it up in this book. Every night, I dream of different spaces and times, imagining a life beyond reality. In these dreams, I find myself lost in unfamiliar worlds, surrounded by people I know, yet they are nothing like the ones I remember. Even I am not myself. I believe: "The only way to discover the limits of the possible is to go beyond them into the impossible." One night, I was in a different space. I tried to wake up, but I couldn't. Everything felt real, yet eerily distorted. I recognized faces from my life, but their personalities had shifted into something unrecognizable. And me? I wasn't even sure who I was. When I finally woke up, the memories of that world faded within minutes. But the lingering feeling remained-the unsettling thought that I wasn't just dreaming. What if I was slipping between realities? What if the lines between my dreams and the real world were beginning to blur?
