You ever had an argument with your mom that resulted in you trying to knock her unconscious by throwing a glass at her head and her then kicking you out the house? An oddly specific question that you probably haven't been asked before. Here's the thing. My mom kicked me out of the house because we argued. All. The. Damn. Time. She obviously picked the final straw and got rid of me. Mind you, I can be a pain in the ass. Look this isn't some excuse for me to throw a pity party, I just thought that I'd do something. But I picked myself off the sidewalk and did something with my life (other than this); I busked. And that was enough for me to live.

"Sammi, this is a gap year. Things are meant to change. Embrace it! We left Tasmania looking for an adventure and that's what we've got. So what if we've had to pick up a few extras on the way" Ri shrugged. "Exactly Ri, we wanted an adventure, not for two guys following us where ever we went!" I sighed. "I guess it's just overwhelming that's all. You know, with the whole 'city of love' thing going on and everything that's just happened. I feel like I need to get out of here" I looked at my best friend who had a mischievous look in her eyes. "Well," She grinned "where to next..." ---------- Sammi and her best friend Ri had been wanting to get out of their small town in Tasmania since they could remember. What with Sammi living in a big family hardly ever getting peace and quiet and Ri having parents who could care less, a trip with just each other as best friends is definitely what they need. Almost as soon as they get started, Sammi and Ri are place in a situation where they are offered the chance for the costs of the trips to be reduced significantly. The catch? Two guys they met in London must travel with them where ever they go. Ri is pouncing on the situation as she is quickly falling head over heels for one of the boys but Sammi is a bit more hesitant. Will Sammi and Ri get to finish off their gap year alone or will theirs plans be turned into a roller coaster ride with these boys joining them?

Melody Harmony Crotchet. I know, I know. She's heard it all. She hates her name, one part because she hates music, and one part because of the bullies. Her parents, as you can tell, are overly enthusiastic about their love of the musical arts. Well, being world famous musicians, you'd have to be. The one question everyone was asking Melody, was: Can she live up to her family name? To answer that, she surely can. Jayce Benjamin Childs. A poor boy, from a poor family. Never really told he could make much of himself. One day, he bought a guitar and started to play, he started to busk on Hollywood street corners, he'd earn hundreds a day, from snobby, unobservant rich people, oblivious to the fact that they'd in fact thrown a twenty dollar note in his guitar case. One day, while Melody and her mother were walking through the city, they heard him play. Her mother simply rolled her eyes and kept walking, but Melody... She stopped and sang with him.

“Your eyes are the windows to your soul. Well that’s what everyone says… But your eyes are different. Why are they different?” “I don’t have a soul. Maybe that’s why.” When the difference between life and death is one bus shelter, one fifty-dollar note and one oblivious young buskers utter delusion, it becomes only rational that something good can come from the darkest of times. This is: Meet me at the bus shelter.
