The entire scene is set at a bus stop, where James and another stranger wait for their late bus. While they do, the stranger strikes a conversation that eventually leads to both of them questioning their realities and even their own identities. James Gavi discovers this stranger is him - another James Gavi that goes by Jim. However, as they dig deeper into each other's lives, both of them find their lives are in sharp contrast with each other. While James has been living a very healthy, happy life with his family and successful career, Jim has been living through Hell, dealing with the grief of his divorced wife and dead daughter. By the time the bus arrives, the tension has piqued, and James declares that Jim is a figment of his imagination, and their entire situation can only be dismissed as a mere coincidence. When James leaves to catch his bus, Jim is abandoned by the road, promising that he will see his other self again soon.
