The alien invasion came without mercy. Cities burned, the military collapsed, and billions were killed. Women and children were kidnapped, families torn apart, and only scattered survivors remained-left to grieve, endure, and rise against their invaders.

An asteroid strikes Earth, killing some of the Earth's population. Some of the survivors were affected by the asteroid's smoke, granting them powers. While some are frightened, others are curious about the cause. Amidst the chaos, a mysterious being emerges from the asteroid, spreading darkness. 𝑯𝑰𝑴. 𝑽𝒆𝒍𝒍'𝒕𝒉𝒖𝒏𝒆. People feared it was the end, but a woman who gained the power of light from the asteroid fought the creature. She won, against the creature that went into hiding. This battle occurred 500 years ago, and now 𝑽𝒆𝒍𝒍'𝒕𝒉𝒖𝒏𝒆'𝒔 followers spread pain and suffering. To fight back young hero's are trained to protect the world from darkness-three boys and three girls, one group aligned with the light, the other with darkness. Can they come together and save the world from this darkness? PS: Him and Vell'thune are the same person. It was confusing putting Him multiple times.

After seeing each other for the first time in years Butch and Buttercup become more then friends

Buttercup didn't like it when she was turned. She hated what she was, what she always will be. There was no cure for this. Not a single, known cure that could turn her back into what she used to be. She should have been with her family, having normal friends, and even a normal life. Now, she was in a house with people she barely knew, going to a school where she couldn't even be herself, and having a pack of wolves chasing her if she got too close to their side of the forest, even if she was just taking a stroll. In other words, being turned into a vampire sucked, literally.
