Glad to see you here esteem! Here's the first of my collection; a short story about a real life incident I came across, that I might not forget ever. The theme of the story here is actually about what a promise to myself mean to me and what I could do for the person whom I gave my words to. Its me, a teen, narrating an incident which I came across that left me in thoughts of being stuck between a promise I gave to myself and the circumstances I had to face at that time. After losing trust on every unexpected persons in my life, desperate me, finally finds myself lucky enough to have a perfect person to have complete faith on. For me, that person was my school biology teacher. Having a decent personality with a supportive nature was enough for me to trust her like a sister. Once given a promise to myself, I never feel like breaking, because it hurts; until the situation was desperate enough to make me break it, which is, actually the saddest part of this story. Having this sad part also made this story interesting one, and sweet enough to describe presence of love and affection for a person.

Me mira por última vez y sonríe. Escucho su frágil voz pidiendo permiso para bajar, a la vez que su menudo cuerpo se hace espacio entre empellones. Se marcha como la desconocida que subió, dejando una cálida estela a su paso. Su aura se marcha con ella, dejándome nuevamente desnudo entre mis ropas, su aroma y sus pecas la siguen, mientras la puerta comienza a cerrarse. Quedo pasmado, incapaz de retomar mi lectura, entre un mar de desconocidos. Comienzo a olvidar su rostro, con el único recuerdo de su ya insípido chicle en mi boca.
