Being a Shelby could be hard, two children were about to learn this. These two children however belonged to the ruthless gangster, Thomas Shelby. After the war Thomas heart had become cold and his eyes empty. He was at a loss. More cold and ruthless than ever before. He had changed, but who hadn't? Two children in need of a home, far away from their father and real family. Two children, that had never had care or been loved before were about to be shown what it was like to be a part of a family that would die for them but would they be able to learn to do the same? So the only question that remains is whether or not they can adapt to the ways of the Shelby's and can they adjust to the madness that seems to follow the Shelby's? DISCONTUNED.

Everyone knows the Shelby's- Arthur Jr, Thomas (Tommy), John, Ada & Finn. Six months before the war, Martha Shelby had another child. A small baby girl named Samantha. She died minutes after holding her baby girl and Arthur Sr left a week later never to be seen again. Samantha Shelby has been raised by her brothers, sister and aunt all her life. When the boys come back from war, she is four years old and does not remember them. Only by pictures and stories told by her brother, aunt and sister. She bonds immediately with them and it is like they never left. Watch as she grows up in the streets of Birmingham with a protective family who get up to mischief on a daily basis.

Tommy Shelby survived the first world war along side his brothers, he thanked God every day his life was spared so he could help his family make money to help grow his business around the country; Tommy had always been there for his family but he could be cruel and he could be evil to those who got in his way, he would never hesitate to put a bullet between your eyes if he knew you would cause him trouble but what if a girl was around, no not a wife or a girl on his arm but a child, a little eleven year old girl who was the child of an old lover? A single letter made Tommy stop dead in his tracks. This girl will change Tommy, she will make him think and she will be his weakness! This story does NOT follow the BBC Peaky Blinders TV series.
