Byte Stories

Byte woke up in an unfamiliar place with no memories, and no idea of what is happening... This story is about an AI named Byte who wants to escape from the lab and live a normal life. This story is inspired by Portal and Portal 2, but does not actually include those characters. Byte's character design has some inspiration from Murder Drones. [ Also, I have recently been informed that Byte looks like a protogen. That was unintentional. Oops. ] This is the first story I actually plan on showing people/publishing because I don't consider myself a "good" writer... please be prepared for major cringe... A tale about two brothers named Frostbite and Lyric, they lived long ago in a magical kingdom, but then the frost giants struck, freezing them, then in the future, they melted, in the year 2000, they then try to fit in, but strange things happen, and the giants return.

It is a quiet city were talking is frowned upon; mutes rule 100 to 1. It is a society of base 2 numbering systems; where talking is limited to 127 words per day. It is a system governed by the dark and hairy 'elites'; despised are the blond-haired and blue-eyed 'lessers'...
