A valley. A promise. A choice that changes everything. Reva Callahan has spent her whole life reading this mountain valley like a map only she can see, every ridge, every crossing, every place the ground gives way beneath careless feet. When a forty-three-page contract arrives from a Chicago development firm proposing to turn four hundred and sixty acres of her family's land into a "curated wilderness experience," she knows exactly what kind of man to expect. Declan Voss isn't supposed to surprise her. He isn't supposed to keep pace on the trail, listen when her ailing father speaks, or look at the valley like it's something to understand instead of something to sell. He definitely isn't supposed to catch her wrist in freezing water and make her forget, for one unguarded second, that he's the enemy. But as the contract's real timeline surfaces, moving faster and dirtier than he ever intended, Reva has to decide whether the man she's falling for is the thing she should be protecting this valley from, or the one person who might finally understand what it's worth. A slow-burn, close-proximity romance about a fierce mountain guide, the developer sent to take her home away from her, and the valley that changes them both.

The Last Cabin Christmas I spent fourteen Christmases loving Carter Hayes. Fourteen winters. Fourteen trips to the same snow-covered cabin. Fourteen years of being his friend. The problem wasn't that he didn't know me. The problem was that he never saw me. When Carter arrives for our final Christmas at the cabin with a beautiful new girlfriend on his arm, I tell myself it doesn't matter. I've survived this before. But Sienna isn't like the others. She knows exactly how I feel about him. And she isn't afraid to use it. As the snow falls and old traditions begin for the last time, I realise something has to change. Because I can't spend another Christmas being someone's second choice. So this year, I choose myself. Even if it means leaving Carter behind. A friends-to-lovers, slow-burn romance filled with unrequited love, holiday angst, jealousy, heartbreak, grovel, and a happily ever after. ā„ļø Friends to Lovers šŸŽ„ Christmas Cabin Romance šŸ’” He Falls Second 😔 Mean Girlfriend Drama šŸ”ļø Snowed In ā¤ļø Grovel & HEA

This is a Cross universe yandere ship that I can't get out of my head. Alan Orion x mycheal The artwork is mine, it's not picture perfect but I love it :3 Chapters can be read as all together or separate events. I'm not going to put pressure on me to keep a consistent story, not if I want to continue this for more than a month. This is not beta red, there has been no proof reading, this is in the raw. I hope the errors in my grammar and writing style doesn't make it to hard to read but I'm not editing it. Btw, I'm constantly forgetting to add this information, Alan is 6'4 and mycheal is 6'2. They are some lanky tall boys! I call Alan taller but truly he's only 2 in taller 0o0o0o0o0o0o Hunter couldn't stand it anymore, being trapped. Being loved by someone he couldn't stand. So he ran, Alan Orion was on his trail. All he wanted was to die at this point, somewhere where those callused hands can't grab him. As he keeps running, Pine forest transitioned into oak and birch forest and a little voice calls to him. Invading all of his senses. "Do you want to sleep forever" And didn't that sound beautiful. Just like a blanket, the forest pulled hunter into itself. Folding him into the mycelia and life of the dirt. A calm reassurance that everything is going to be okay enveloped his body. Warming him to his core with a feeling of safety. A promise that he wouldn't have to be chased anymore. That he could close his eyes So He let them slip shut 0o0o0o0o0o0o Alan Orion wanted to get The love of his life back, but hunter ended up choosing death over his love. instead of leaving the new forest with a deep gouge in his heart, a mushroom boy found him in morning of his lovers death. Comforting the brunette with compation and kindness no one has given him in so long. And soon Alan truly understood the analogy 'when one door closes another one opens.'

A luxury mountain chalet was never supposed to be the beginning of their story. When successful fashion photographer Isla Hart arrives in the Swiss Alps for a much needed two-week escape, she has one goal: disappear from the world. Burnt out by deadlines, social media, and a career that no longer feels like hers, the secluded chalet is exactly the reset she needs. Until she opens the front door. Someone is already there. Noah Bennett is a venture capitalist whose life runs on schedules, numbers, and control. He's rented the same chalet after a booking error neither company is willing to admit. With every nearby hotel fully booked and a snowstorm rolling in faster than expected, they're told to make it work for one night. By morning, every road has disappeared beneath metres of snow. The power flickers. Phone signal vanishes. Rescue crews warn them it could be up to two weeks before the roads reopen. Two strangers. One chalet. No way out. From arguing over groceries and fighting for the fireplace to shovelling snow and cooking by candlelight, Isla and Noah are forced to share every moment of their unexpected isolation. The more they learn about each other, the more the carefully built walls around them begin to crack. Noah isn't as cold as he pretends to be. And Isla isn't nearly as fearless as the world believes. As the storm outside grows stronger, so does something neither of them planned for. But when the snow finally melts and real life comes calling, they'll have to answer the question they spent two weeks trying to avoid: Was it the mountain that brought them together... Or have they found something worth fighting for long after the storm has passed? A slow-burn romance filled with sharp banter, forced proximity, breathtaking winter scenery, emotional healing, and the comforting reminder that sometimes the most unexpected detours lead exactly where you're meant to be.

    * Adult themes (18+) She came to the lake for silence. She found temptation. After two years of heartbreak, emotional exhaustion, and pretending she was finally okay, Lena Mercer escapes to a secluded lake house for the summer with only one real plan: disappear into romance novels and forget the life waiting for her back home. The cabin is everything she hoped for. Quiet mornings. Moonlit water. Windows left open to the scent of pine and rain. Endless nights curled beneath soft blankets with stories about dangerous men and women reckless enough to love them anyway. Then she notices the man two docks down. Caleb Rowan is the kind of man who says very little and somehow notices everything. The kind of man who watches Lena like he already understands the thoughts she hides between the pages of her books. What begins as lingering glances across the lake slowly turns into something far more intimate once he realizes exactly what she's escaping into every night. Late conversations in the dark. Handwritten notes slipped onto her porch. Barefoot swims beneath the moonlight. A connection that feels less like coincidence and more like being quietly unraveled. For the first time in years, Lena feels wanted instead of lonely. But the lake is full of secrets, and Caleb has scars of his own hidden beneath his calm smile. The deeper Lena falls into the story unfolding around her, the more dangerous it becomes to tell where fantasy ends and real desire begins. Because some summers change you forever. And some people walk into your life like a chapter you were never supposed to survive.
