His gaze fell on a nearby banner, its characters written in an archaic script. His blood ran cold as realisation dropped onto him. "We're in the past," he said, his voice barely above a whisper, "This is the Luofu... A thousand years ago." Before they could process the implications of Dan Heng's words, a familiar voice called out to them, "You there! What are you doing standing in the middle of the street?"
