Izuku Midoriya is told he can never be a hero, never be someone that helps anyone. He can't be a police officer, a firefighter, a doctor, not even a teacher. Being quirkless makes others see him as weak. A liability they said. Well, with his mothers help, he'll become his own kind of hero. Maybe he can't help others in immediate trouble, but he can help them feel safe. That's what he tells his mother, but the reality is quickly revealed when his mother finds a few items in his room. Never say Inko Midoriya doesn't support her son. Chapters may be short, as some are simply little stories of what happens in the cafe or on Izuku's patrols.

Shouto Todoroki is the most famous idol in japan as of this moment. After his husband Hiroto cheats on him and makes up rumours about Todoroki, Todoroki's manager suggests he starts a fake relationship/ arranged marriage with someone to calm down the scandal. Todoroki doesn't want to at first because of his past with his mum and endeavour's relationship but when he meets a cute green headed bean at a new cafe that all changes. Izuku Midoriya's life is shit to say the least, he is in crippling debt, his mum Inko Midoriya is in the hospital life hanging by a thread and he recently broke up with his boyfriend Minato who was to say the least a very shitty and mentally abusive person. After one day on work while he is walking home a fancy car drives up to him and asks him to go in... (Ages) Todoroki: 21 Midoriya: 19 Hiroto: 20 Minato: 19 (No quirk au)

Izuku gets his quirk bit nothing turns out how he imagined. He gets a "awful quirk sent from hell" and his family falls apart. No one gives him the validation he needs but he continues on the path of righteousness despite everything. What will happen? How will he use the cards of life he was given?
