The war is over, the White Star (Radish) is dead for good, and the God of Despair has been resealed, but Cale's ever so elusive Slacker Life is still out of reach with the looming threat of the Hunters. The God of Death, knowing that he is at least partially responsible for the chaos that has been Cale's life so far, decides to give him a gift (besides the ones he already originally planned to give him), the gift of truth. Not for Cale, but for those he cares for. He will take the burden of secrets from Cale's shoulders, if only to lighten the heavy load he tries to carry on his own. Or Cale's loved ones, friends, and allies across multiple worlds are summoned to read his story (legend). Trash of the Count's Family is not mine and all credit for the original novel go to its wonderful author, Yoo Ryeo Han. Credit for the novel translation I am using goes to the wonderful translators of the EAP website. I will write the character names like this so you can tell them apart: Earth 1- Name Earth 2- Name* TBoaH- Name* Indignity Test- Name^ TCF- Name Timelines for the different worlds involved are: Earth 1 (group 1)- a few months after the original Kim Rok Soo and original Cale swapped Earth 2 (group 2)- shortly after the cintamani stopped working TBoaH (group 3)- a little more than a year before the start of the war Indignity Test (group 4)- a few months after Cale left that world TCF (group 5)- right after Cale got slapped by the God of Death's book

Spoiler warning for the novel through the end of part one (not all chapters will be included in this version, but Cale likes to info bomb people, so spoilers are possible for the entire thing). There are several chapters before the reactions start. This is the speed run version that will only cover portions of the novel instead of the entire novel chapter by chapter like my original version does.

Once, there was a hero loved by all. He carried victories on his shoulders, despair in his hands, and hope in his silent presence. He stood at the center of the war and ensured its end- Then vanished. After the final battle, the world moved on-lighter, safer, complete. They remember his titles, the war, that someone led them to victory. But they can't remember his name, his face, the man who bled for them. But even forgotten, his absence leaves scars. Unfinished gestures. Empty spaces. A lingering ache no one can explain. And beside Crown Prince Alberu Crossman now stands a quiet aide who feels painfully familiar-someone whose presence brings comfort, sorrow... and a longing that refuses to fade. This is the story of what they lost and what is about to be remembered. ///////////// This is my first fanfic, it's a reaction fanfic a little different from the ones I've read so far. The credits of the novel are obviously to Yoo Ryeo-Han (유려한) The cover belongs to me, it was made with the help of the IA but is mine. I don't have a schedule to publish a new chapter but i guess it will take a while English isn't my first language, so there might be spelling mistakes or confusing sentences. I apologize in advance. This fanfic is created solely for entertainment purposes, and I don't intend to offend anyone. I know, or at least I think so, that the Albecale ship isn't canon, but I love it, so it will be canon in this story. The idea was inspired by a video reaction I saw about the characters from the fanfic "Third Mirage"? I think that was its name, only it was in Russian. It was a reaction to the original "Totcf," although I don't really remember it very well, but it's something like that. So, I'd say credit goes to the creator of that fanfic, even though I haven't seen it, and to the creator of the video, whose name I honestly don't remember.

In a quiet village devoted to a god of freedom, a child is born with wings the color of shadow. First hailed as a blessing, she is soon feared, blamed for every storm and loss, and imprisoned behind stone walls. No matter how many times her wings are torn away and burned in desperate acts of faith, they always grow back-silent proof of something the villagers refuse to understand.

Kim Rok Soo was just taking a nap when he woke up, he became Cale Henituse, a character from a novel he had been reading called The Birth Of A Hero. He didn't understand why he woke up feeling pain and all, then... WHAT! He has gained healing abilities but wait... This wasn't part of the plot. Kim Rok Soo, now Cale would realize this version was more like a diverse timeline and the monsters from his world although slightly different were also here. A summon for all able men in every household from the crown prince let to him going to the army where he would begin his life as a healer where he would feel cherished and have a loving family and also surviving means earning a lifetime of a slacker. It is a win-win then. But why do the system gives him weird quests: _________ Side quest [Hug the crown prince] Hidden quest [ Eat with Choi Han used spoon] Side quest [ Blow the protagonist a kiss] Cale:??? This is a tale of the trash who became a healer.

Everyone loves the first day of school, right? New year, new classes, new friends. It's a day full of potential and hope, before the dreary depressions of reality show up to ruin all the fun. I like the first day of school for a different reason, though. You see, I have a sort of power. When I look at people, I can...sense a sort of aura around them. A colored outline based on how long that person has to live. Most everyone I meet around my age had a solid green hue, which means they have plenty of time left. A fair amount of them have a yellow-orangish tinge to their auras, which tends to mean a car crash it some other tragedy. Anything that takes place "before their time" as people say. The real fun is when the auras venture into the red end of the spectrum though. Every now and again I'll see someone who's basically a walking stoplight. Those are the ones who get murdered or kill themselves. It's such a rush to see them and know their time is numbered. With that in mind, I always get to class very early so I can scout my classmates fates. The first kid who walked in was basically radiating red. Too damn bad, bro. But as people kept walking in they had that same intense glow. I finally caught a glimpse of my own rose-tinted reflection in the window, but I was too stunned to move. Our professor walked in and locked the door, his aura a sickening shade of green...TO BE CONTINUED Read the rest of this short story to learn more about what happens next. "The fire we circled didn't bless us-it cursed us. And I will make sure you burn in it first." - Dhani Varhan. For a florist like Dhani Varhan, a black orchid usually meant elegance. But the one left for her after that unsettling wedding was a threat. Overnight, her quiet life was flipped upside down, caught in the crosshairs of a power she never asked to be a part of. But Dhani refuses to be a trophy or a captive. To live the life she has always dreamed of-one completely free from chains, control, and lethal restrictions-she has to run. But escaping a shadow that grows everywhere is easier said than done. 🍁 Tonight, she wasn't just running; she was trying to outrun fate itself. Freedom was her only god, and she was sprinting toward a horizon where his name was never whispered. But the universe has a cruel sense of irony. It doesn't allow a masterpiece to escape its collector. As she fled through the shadows, she realized too late that she wasn't running toward safety-she was hurtling into the mouth of the abyss. The reckoning she feared didn't come in the form of a storm. It wore a tailored suit and possessed a gaze that could strip a soul bare. *Ekansh Rathore.* Confusion clouded her mind until her eyes fell upon the sacred fire-and the truth hit her like a physical blow. Her heart died of pure horror. No. No, he couldn't be doing this. "No! Please!" Her voice tore from her throat, a frantic scream that echoed off the stone walls. She thrashed against him, raining desperate blows down on his chest and shoulders, but it was like fighting a mountain. His iron grip around her wrist only tightened as he ruthlessly dragged her into the circle, turning a holy rite into her worst nightmare. He completed his vows of madness, and in response, a raw, soul-ripping scream shattered from her throat. He claimed the enchantress by force, blind to the ancient truth: when you cage a goddess, you unknowingly volunteer to be the first sacrifice at her altar.
