Two brothers are at odds about how to proceed with their ranching inheritance. This modern version of the Cain and Abel story demonstrates how siblings can be so different that they seem not to be from the same parents. As the ranch family deals with one tragic blow after another, one of the brothers emerges in possession of all he ever wanted. However his victory is hollow because his bullying behaviour has led him to betray the vision of his hard working grandfather, and has made the world an unlivable place for him.

Roughly 150,000 years ago, Cain murdered his younger brother Abel in jealousy when he was 15 years old. As punishment, God placed a mark on Cain's forehead, cursing him to walk the earth for eternity, completely unable to die. Now, Cain still walks the earth, posing as an average teenager in middle school in Manhattan, New York, desperately searching for a way to redeem his soul and finally end his eternity. What would happen if the world learned of his existence?

A very short, modernization of the story of Cain and Abel.

Told in a series of alternating flashbacks, Beechwood Park is the story of twins Cait and Abby-one fated to destroy the other-mirroring the downfall of Cain and Abel.
