Caine gets reinstated as a program after the aftermath of episode 8. Unfortunately for him, he remembers everything. He blinks. A second ago he was faced with his rapidly approaching deletion, and now he's standing in a seemingly abandoned circus. Devoid of color. Of stability. Of his precious humans. All he ever wanted was to be loved. Admired. For his craft. His adventures. For bending over backwards to make the humans happy. But the harder he tried, the more the humans held him in contempt.
