Firefighter Violet Lanes is undergoing therapy following an incident involving her little sister, Powder, that nearly resulted in Violet's death. She has since returned to her duties after a year, having overcome a seven-week recovery period. Vi is then left in a difficult situation when Vander falls ill, worrying the whole family. She juggles two full-time jobs while taking care of her sister and stays up all night, unable to sleep, only to wake up to her alarm at 5 a.m. Across the bridge from Zaun is Piltover, California. The lead doctor and owner of the hospital "Hearts Of Harmony," named Caitlyn Kiramman, worked tirelessly over the years after the loss of her mother in a car accident when she was 16 years old. Caitlyn's world is turned upside down when Firefighter Violet Lanes suffers an injury that almost takes her life, and the two fall head over heels for each other while Violet begins to recover. When Vi heals, she is forced to make a hard decision: whether she should ever go back to the department again, or should she just stay home for Powder, Vander, The Last Drop, and the doctor, Caitlyn? While Vi is working at Piltover's police force, she notices something weird about the sheriff. The woman seems cold; the Enforcer tries her best to break through Caitlyn's facades and enlighten all the secrets hidden within her partners soul. (It's my first fanfic, please don't be too harsh; also the characters may not be exactly like they're ingame.)
