Oh yeah, certain demise. Calamity Ganon can break free from the castle any day now, and Y/n has had enough. Enough of waiting for someone to step up and rid the land of evil. Enough of other people being unwilling to at least try. Embarking on a journey to save hyrule, she didn't expect to bump into someone thought to have perished. Even in the land of Hyrule that has been decimated by Calamity Ganon for 100 years, there still remains legends that any male born born into in the Gerudo tribe will fall victim to a terrible curse. But what happens when a child is born after ten thousand years since the last transcribed sighting of one? Cast out of his tribe in fear that he might become the monster that his ancestor had become, Dragmire becomes a traveller in hopes of finding out if he is truly cursed as those claim he is. Although the passing years were full of difficulty navigating this harsh world, Dragmire holds on to hope that he can crave out a normal life for himself. But when he finds a Hylian gravely injured from an ambush, the exiled Gruedo decides to care for him. However, things don't get much easier when someone from Dragmire's past becomes the new leader of the Yiga Clan, wanting them both dead.

Link finds him self doubting the Goddess Hylia, is his doubt blasphemy or is it just?

The war has been won. Princess Zelda, soon to become Queen Zelda of Hyrule, has been freed from the confines of Hyrule Castle that she had been trapped in by Ganon. Although Calamity Ganon is gone, danger still lurks round every corner. Yiga Clan activity has increased, as riots among the rogue group occur. The vengeful beasts that had once been slain by Link, are back, with a bitter message. Now, it is up to Link and Zelda to travel the lands once again, and restore the ruined Kingdom back to its former glory.

Calamity Ganon is coming. Princess Zelda is in a race against time to unlock her sealing magic, but no matter how hard she tries, the power evades her. Master Link has been tasked to accompany her as she travels throughout the land in an attempt to awaken her abilities, but nothing works. When the end closes in, when the beast raises its ugly head, will Zelda be strong enough to face it? The clock is ticking. Time is short. A retelling of the events preceding the newest installment in the Legend of Zelda franchise, "In The Days Before" stitches together all of the memories Link uncovers in the game while filling in the gaps of the story. (Spoiler Warning! I am begging you, play the game first before you read!) (I do not own any of the characters, all rights belong to Nintendo)

Many see him and think he is simply a talented individual who hasn't seen a bit of struggle or a hard day in his life. Everyone knows of Link, the Hylian Champion who will fight along with the four other Champions against Calamity Ganon, but does anyone know how Link came to be that great Hylian Champion in the first place? This is my head-cannon story of BOTW Link's childhood and life before becoming Zelda's appointed knight. It is not cannon from Nintendo, and you can't prove it right, but you can't prove it wrong either! The Legend of Zelda and most of the main characters are owned by Nintendo, but the actual story and some of the other main characters comes from my imagination. The Story of the Calamity that has plagued Hyrule for 10,000 years, How it came to be, how it rose to power, and how it fell. Since I wrote the Story the entire thing will be 'Non Canon' Information and as such, only 'Canon' information has been put into the second part, though only a bit of it is head canon.

"Link..." He shifted slightly, feeling that voice in his mind. "Link." The voice stressed, a tone of exhaustion under it. He woke, immediately pulling himself upward while his hands moved to his back, a reflex. There was nothing there, though. "Link. You must free me." The voice said again. Link turned his head, trying to find the source of the voice. "You will grow strong, and have the power needed for your task." The voice continued. "Please... help me." The ground shook. --- I don't own the Legend of Zelda.

(THIS IS A LEGEND OF ZELDA FIC BASED ON THE BOTW VERSION OF THE GAME) Sheik sighed as he landed near Kakriko and started to reminisce. 100 years since the Princess and Her hero had been defeated by Calamity Ganon. And much had changed.

(Y/N) is in a dark and cold dreamscape with tattered clothes and jet-black hair. The young woman before them is Princess Zelda, who speaks to (Y/N) with a gentle smile and a blue aura. (Y/N)'s ears are not expanding and the princess is confused. (Y/N) believes the ruler of Hyrule knows more than him. Zelda is a crown princess who is telepathic and requests the young adventurer to defeat the Calamity and reawaken her from her sleeping state. As the young adventurer wakes up, a small chest falls from the sky with an old shirt and trousers, as well as a device. The young adventurer sees someone riding a horse across the horizon, with snow-white hair and a symbol that resembles the one on the tablet. She pulls back the reins of her horse and climbs down.

A retelling of events leading up to Breath of the Wild attempting to fill in some of the gaps and better explain the unanswered questions.

Two times. Same people. A mysterious spirit shows Zelda a way to see the future. When she sees Link however, she is overwhelmed with mixed emotions. Now struggling with communicating to the Link in her time, she watches him 100 years in the future in secret. Trying to keep up with her responsibilities and relationships is getting to her, but she so desperately needs to know how Future Link's story plays out, not knowing that it will change how she views him in her time. Notes: 1. This takes place before the Great Calamity while Zelda is trying to unlock her power and switches to present time 2. The timeline and theme doesn't exactly fit with the canon LOZ games, but is similar. 3. I DO NOT OWN COVER ART OF ANYTHING LEGEND OF ZELDA

Link has just awoken from his long slumber and has a decision yo make which will he choose

Whether it is skyward bound, adrift in time, steeped in the glowing embers of twilight, or avenging the rotting ruins of a once prosperous kingdom, there is always the spirit of the hero, the bloodline of the goddess, the incarnation of Demise's hatred, and the cursed one known as (Name). When the three Golden Goddesses created all of hylian history and culture, they gave you a "special gift" but to you it was a curse. In each life, you and the hero were destined to be together but something would away get in the way. Either he loved someone more than he loved you or you were killed before you two could be together. You hated the fate the goddesses subjected you to, but you would try to change your fate in every life.
