This is an au. After finding Nott's husband, things did not go as planned. The goblin should've expected that she would get ridiculed and much worse by a man who hated goblins. That didn't stop her from booting out of that cellar and running away from the mighty nein and her best friend. {Critical Role} What if they was another non humanoid creature in the midst of The Fletching and Moondrop Traveling Carnival of Curiosities? The fiendish 'Devil Toad' was the only creature of the non-humanoid variety to be shown at performances. In the sidelines, assisting Yasha with set up and security was Redwood, a Fey beast of a rare kind. Docile and a prime example of 'looks can be deceiving', they never spoke much of their past or stepped into the limelight. Traveling to Trostenwald to perform was nothing too dramatic, until a eruption of terrified screams came from the tent which dragged the unsuspecting Fey to a motley crew with familiar faces. Will Redwood's past stay in the shadows or will this team bring a new chapter to their story? (I don't own critical role or the nerdy-ass voice actors in it.)

The past has a way of finding you, no matter now carefully yo try to leave it behind. For Valdrin, duty has always been a constant. When he is tasked with tracking down a traitor of the kryn Dynasty, it is simply another assignment in his long life. One he intends to see through to its end. Essek Thelyss, however has no plans of going with Valdrin. And he is not alone. What should have been straightforward mission quickly unravels into something far more complicated. Caught between obligation and something far less defined, Valdrin finds the like between hunter and something else begins to blur. And as the distance between them closes, it becomes increasingly uncertain whether any of them will walk away unchanged.

Idk I'm just writing because I feel like shit and this ship is a comfort ship. Haven't finished Critical Role yet, so no spoilers please! Also I Love Caleb, so if anybody else like absolutely loved this smelly boi, please say hey!
