WIP No one knows what happened to those two strange orphan boys in Gravesfield. But there are rumours, of them being wisked away to another realm by a real witch. No one knows. Except them. This is a retelling of how Caleb and Phillip Wittebane came to the Boiling Isles, and how I think it happened, so most of this is speculation/headcanons.

The wittebane brothes Past

The last collector attack has been the most devastating and brutal yet, over one third of the army has perished. King Caleb Clawthorne has ordered the guard captains to recruit new scouts for the past year, and what used to be a position of nobility and prestige has now become one of which any willing commoner could be accepted. Two of those commoners are Willow Park and Augustus, or "Gus" Porter as Willow called him. Willow is one of the most admirable, and powerful guards in the Clawthorne Monarchy, which is why the Guard Captain deems her as the perfect replacement to be Prince Hunter's new personal Guard.

But when have rules ever stopped Luz Noceda, and when shes acompinied by the two biggest rule breakers on the isles; Eda and Circe Clawthorne. Nothing can stop this weird little family. But everything runs so much deeper and when they start digging for answers, the perfectly crafted lies begin to fall around them. Endagering the entire Boiling Isles and risking their lives for the people they love. Circe is a normal teenager, angsty and secretive, snapping and slamming her door shut at her mother when she questions where she's been in the middle of the night. I mean she can't exactly tell her mom she's meeting the emperors right hand man; the Golden Guard for a date, can she?

This is the story of Evelyn, Caleb, and Philip! Witches, demons, monsters and all those weird creatures are something we can all agree is just fairytale nonsense.. Probably. But when you find an old book written by some guy called Caleb Wittebane from who knows what century. You find yourself not so sure anymore. I mean what he wrote obviously isn't real. Magic can't be real? Right? (I'm gonna add a cover soon😞)

If you haven't watched toh S2 you should cuz there will obviously be spoilers about it ⚠️The warnings are⚠️: -Dead/mentions of dead -blood -angst -execution -demons trying to eat people -may have panic attacks, breakdowns etc.. So yeah it's gonna be pretty brutal 🧍

Y/N is 21, and is a wild witch, specialized in Beast Keeping, plants, and Potions. Once she left Hexside, she wanted to use her own magic the way she wanted to, but that would mean joining the emperors coven. She is bound to herself, not a coven. She's a part of this guild of other wild witches like her. And their main goal? To take down the golden guard who's responsible for imprisoning other wild witches. Does she have the guts and the willpower to take this guy down? Or does she realize he's not the bad guy people say he is. (Characters aged up for the sake of being a wild witch and not a student enrolled at Hexside) May involve: drinking, smoking, cursing language

This story is meant to explore the lives of the Wittebane brothers. It'll be a bit wonky, I'm not sure how long it'll be but I'll try to keep it a bit short. Each chapter will maybe be a different section of their lives. The first chapter is when Philip is 8 and his brother is roughly 11.
