Two sisters, born three thousand years ago, were given powers that made them immortal. Although twins, they couldn't be more divergent. One was given power over light. The other over darkness. Lucis, the blessed one, adorned by humans, was thought to be the goddess. But Caligo, who was cursed, lived the life in solitude, and was considered a demon. This is the story of a dark sister. This is the story of Caligo. ''Both girls opened their eyes, and in that moment clouds dispersed and the moon shined brighter than ever. One had soft amber eyes, the other unnatural blue ones. 'Lucis, the light' said the druid, pointing at the first girl, 'Caligo, the darkness' he pointed at the other one, whose piercing blue gaze examined her surroundings. 'One will be our savior, the other our doom.' The old man said, he and his wife, the healer, turned to exit the hut. 'Which one?' The chief asked. 'The one with the black heart.' answered the druid''

"The king...." a guard ran into the hall panting heavily, "The king is missing" It was supposed to be a wonderful day in the kingdom of Crustaecia, it was the Prince Rodrigo's coronation as king. It was his day to ascend the throne as the heir of his late father, King Greg but suddenly the king was nowhere to be found. Cassandra suddenly felt shivers run down her spine, her hands and feet grew cold. Shock rendered her speechless. How could her husband be gone? How could the king go missing on his coronation? "I would go crazy if anyone touched you or if anything happened to you. I want to protect you and shield you from any trouble that will come your way." He promised her the night before that he would be king for her sake, to protect her and be by her side. He couldn't have lied to her. There was no way her husband ran away leaving her here alone. "What do you mean the king is missing?" His sister asked "He isn't in his room and we can't find him anywhere in the castle. Everyone is looking for him" The people murmured and mumbled to each other. Where is the king? On his own coronation? "Find him immediately" Caligo, his brother ordered the guard who ran off. "I love you Cassandra. I love you with all my heart." He told her he loved her. How could he have disappeared after he told her he loved her. Her husband couldn't have gone missing. He couldn't have ran away after making those promises. If he didn't run away where then was he? What happened to him?

It needed two years, just two years, and the whole earth went to shit. Nobody expected it and when it happened nobody could believe it. It seemed surreal, like a nightmare. Creatures with red eyes came at night. They killed many people or abducted them. Nobody saw one of these people ever again. The creatures had a smell of sulfur, which reminds of hell. Of course what I expected hell to smell like. But every book, every notion about hell was pretty accurate. It became reality. My former life, which I called boring, was like heaven, but I didn't realized it. Not until it was gone. Now my life was a everyday fight to survive. You know, sometimes boring is better. Hazel, as she called herself after everything began, managed to survive the attack of the Caligos, demon-like creatures, which came without warning. What happened to the world and can a new companion help her to defeat the hell the world became?
