A few months after the events of Octo Expansion, everything is back to normal- or at least that's what Agent 8 thinks. As she goes back to her normal life and friends, she lets loose of all worries. But she can't let her guard down yet, for Tartar is still plotting against her and all of Inkopolis.

After the events of Tides of Hypnosis, Marie posts the video of Callie supposedly trying to kill her. This causes a huge backlash against Callie and causes a huge rift between the cousins.
