In Octo Canyon, circa 150,000 years into the future, the Octarians are trying to perfect a time machine. The machine works a little too well and they end up bringing in Luigi! They decide to do a little experimenting on the human and find out that they can hypnotize him just like they did for the Inkling, Callie! They recreate Mr.L and then dump Luigi back into his timeline. Dimentio catches wind of this and demands to rescue Mr.L from these fiends. Luigi and Dimentio now find themselves navigating this futuristic world as Inklings and Octolings to find Mr.L. (SPM and Splatoon belong to Nintendo! A young girl named Callie White spends most of her time in a hospital during her fight through cancer. She spends her long days after surgery drawing pictures of and writing letters to her friends and family to comfort them after she passes. In downtime she is like a normal girl that hangs out with friends, although she is predicted to die within a month or two. She also helps out the nurses and doctors as much as possible with anything and everything. All she wants is to be treated like an ordinary girl, but all she needs to realize is that she is not.

The history of humanity has always been shrouded in mystery and speculation. Remains and technology have been found, but that only tells the species that replaced humanity so much.
