So please disregard my notes as he is dating someone. Sorry. But Carson's vod about fan culture addresses fanfiction, and I feel like this story should be put on hold because he's now in a relationship and the last thing I want is this Fic. It's sorta a moral of mine to not create anything like this if they are in a relationship. Feels wrong. Not saying I will update if worse happens bc that still feels wrong. So idk how to continue this Fic...

there's no romance in this, and it's painstakingly alternate universe. that said, it very clearly goes against what carson said was acceptable, due to the nature of the story - violence, for example - and as such will not be continued. my apologies. ----- things are looking grim in 2059, and wilbur soot is newly employed. something's stirring in the depths of the affectionately nicknamed symp city, and after a breathtakingly stupid sequence of events it becomes his job to figure out what. you'd think balancing fragile gang politics and his growing online presence would be enough to deal with, and yet... in a world stuffed full of impossible feats, intricate conspiracies and some downright pretentious twats, our hero just can't catch a break. armed with only a cheeky smile and unimaginable power, wilbur's been thrown headfirst into the kind of salient conspiracy that threatens everyone left on a corrupt and dying planet. so really, what's new?
