Based off of the Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard. i don't own any of these characters this is just a spin off of Kings cage. Based on Kings Cage, Mare trades her life for Cal and Kilorn. Little does she know she starts to slowly change and do the one thing she swore she wouldn't. Maybe Maven can be helped, he's just a product of his mother and maybe Mare can help.

The war against Maven has been won, and now it is time for Cal to become king of Norta. Will he be able to overcome the nightmares of his violent past and rule over a kingdom that has been divided by his own allies? Will he be strong enough to marry Evangeline Samos and lead the life he was always supposed to lead?

The story takes place a little after War Storm, and Mare, now a captain, begins to date Tyton. An unexpected turn of events leads her back to Norta, back to Cal. Read to find out what happens!

Inspired by "In Love With the Monster" by Evx on fanfiction.net( Read it before mine! Highly recommend!!!) What if Mare had chosen Maven? Mare and Maven are ruling Norta and they have two children together. After banishing Cal from Norta and all its allies their oldest it has been twenty years. While their oldest is getting ready for the throne, the youngest is left to their books. Will they share the same fate as Maven in RQ? Read to find out! Silvers pass down their abilities from the father to the child, except for a rare occurrence where a child inherits the mother's abilities instead. Leonara Calore III is the daughter of Tiberias Calore VII and Coriane Jacos. She is the elder sister of Tiberias Calore VIII, the heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Norta. Leonara is the first case of a descendant of House Calore to inherit her mother's abilities instead of her father's. Due to the fact that she is not a burner, she cannot wear the Nortan crown, which means her brother, Cal, is the heir to the throne. As there is no precedent of Leonara's situation, she is sent to her uncle, Julian Jacos, to be raised as a member of the House Jacos until she is of age to marry. Afterwhich, she will retain her title as Princess Leonara Calore III until she is wed. Original characters and plot belong to Victoria Aveyard. The story will be loosely based on the events that follow in Red Queen, the first book of the series. The story follows Leonara Calore III, so there will be less focus on the more well known characters.

Mare goes back to Norta months after the events of War Storm, along with Evangeline, Elane, and Farley. This is the story of Mare rekindling things with Cal, Evangeline trying to deal with the current issue facing The New Free Republic of Norta, an assassination attempt that left Julian, the current Premier on his deathbed, and Farley trying to figure out what, if any, Powers her infant may possess and how on earth she's going to deal with them. *Though none of this is a Marecal oneshot, Cal's fourth POV can be read as one. **I OWN NOTHING!! This is a red queen fanfic! It's a Maven X Oc/Reader! Because I really like Maven. Like when he isn't evil though! (Name) has neither red or silver blood. She has black blood. Black blooded people were thought to be legends because of how powerful they sounded. (Name) is the last black blooded person. Black blooded people don't have one power, they have all of the powers, which can make one go insane if they cant control. You have to be quite wise to control all your powers, unlike (Name). She has no control over her powers. When she comes out of hiding what will happen? Will she control her powers? Or will she lose control and do something disastrous? Whatever happens catches the King Maven's eye........ I do not own anything but the plot and the black blooded concept!

I will be writing a fanfiction on the 4th and final book of the Red Queen series taking place after Kings Cage. 😔 Mare has been broken by Cal. The choice he has made will scar her for life but she must find a way to end this war as well as kill Maven, the boy who betrayed her. She is faced with choices that will haunt her but will she make the right ones?
