I'm sure there's plenty of people on Wattpad that know about the Cambridge International Examinations, or the CIEs for short. Whether you are giving Olevels, As level or A2 level, I'm sure all of us share similiar suffering at the hands of this so called 'top level institute of trust and education'. Recently my As level exams ended, after happening from 13th May to the 4th of June, and during these papers, I decided, why let creativity die, I have had so many sleepless nights fueled by nothing by coffee and energy drinks, why not let that version of me write for a change, and so I did, and this is the result. Funnily enough I wrote these stories during the exams themselves, I'll explain how in the first chapter. Enjoy!

"The Turing Tape", a one-act play, is a madcap conspiracy theory about the life and times of Alan Mathison Turing, a brilliant cryptanalyst, computer visionary, and homosexual within the British intelligence community of the 1940s and 50s. The play's chief conceit is that, through a troubled romantic relationship with fellow mathematician Robin Gandy, Turing was drawn into the cloak-and-dagger world of notorious Soviet moles Donald Maclean, Guy Burgess, and Anthony Blunt. At its heart, "The Turing Tape" is a love story, tracing Turing's obsession with Gandy from their benign picnics during the London bombings of 1941, through his homosexual trial and state-sponsored oestrogen injections of 1952, to his lonely and tragic death in June of 1954. Interwoven throughout the play is the titular Turing Tape, a secretly encrypted account of events, recorded by Alan in his final days as he awaits assassination at the hands of the KGB.

In the story, a boy named Nathan Lancaster, also known as Nathanael Angel is a friend of Silver White. He is asked to watch over and protect Violetta, assuming the responsibility of keeping her safe. Nathan is switching from his previous school to live with his "mother," Ariel Lancaster, a demon known as Angel. Unbeknownst to Nathan, Ariel desires Violetta's power but keeps her intentions hidden. Despite her solo efforts, Ariel reaches out to Nathan to ask for his input and requests. Why are they interested in Violetta, and what do they want from her?

A group of teenage friends attempt to invoke the spirit of Thomas Malthus with a ouija board to ask him some questions for an economics project, but call up a demon of the same name instead. Asking about Malthus’s famous theory which said that without any limits the human population will keep growing, but the earth can only support so many people, they unwittingly give the demon the idea that if peaceful, generous behaviour overruled war and misery, the world would end pretty quickly. The teenagers realise they’ve given the demon the perfect recipe for destroying mankind when wars suddenly finish, dodgy billionaires start giving away money to medical research, peace deals are made all over the world, and politicians begin working together. They must act to stop the spread of peace – but how?
