In a world where ghosts walk the night. While most people hide, Agents walk the night fighting these ghosts. For Lockwood, this is where is thrives. But for Saige, her ghost-hunting days are long behind her. Both are independent by nature. Both started their own businesses. Both have troubled pasts. Will they help each other through it? This is a dark fanfic based on season 1 of the Netflix adaptation. It takes place about a year before Lucy joins the Co. Phoebe and Lockwood meet under a rather sad set of circumstances. She has a ghost, and although Lockwood's agency will take on the most challenging of cases, the only way he can truly seem to help her is through sharing kisses. Author's note: I am writing this as a fanfic I would enjoy reading, so I hope you like it. I cannot promise a happy ending however. :'(
