This fanfic takes place after the manga ended. After Bakugo's 3rd year at UA, he worked harder and harder to become the number one hero. Due to several injuries from the final war, Bakugo ended up getting 5th in the pro hero rankings. During the fight that moved him to 3rd in the pro hero rankings, he reunited with Camie, the girl he had met at the Provisional Hero Licensing exam. After that day, Camie and Bakugo became close friends and later on, they became lovers. At the age of 28, Bakugo and Camie got married. Two years later, Camie had their daughter, Kassie Bakugo. Camie knew that either she or Bakugo had to stay home while the other went to work. After Bakugo argued with Camie about how they should both stay home for 3 months and spend time with Kassie, she thought otherwise. In the end, Camie decided to go back to work. That was the worst mistake. On Camie's first day back to work, she was too weak from just giving birth to a child, so she couldn't give her all into fighting the villain and passed away in the fight. Bakugo was heartbroken. He now had to be a single father raising Kassie by himself and also had to juggle being the number 3 hero as well.
