She holds secrets and pain close to her heart; she needs someone to protect her. Will Lauren be able to be that person? 'As she walks past, I have a sudden urge to get her attention. I reach out to grab her left arm, as her hands are tucked into her pockets, giving me the perfect opportunity to latch onto her angled arm. "Lauren! Hey!" She turns around immediately, dragging her right fist out - it's clenched so hard that I can see her nails penetrating into the skin of palm, blood trickling slowly down her wrist. Her eyes are wide with fear, almost as if she truly believes that her life is in danger in this situation. Her orbs shake as she observes me, tears filling her emerald ones before she squeezes them shut for a few seconds and fulling her fist down from where she was holding it in the air beforehand, rubbing it on her loose, dark jeans before stuffing her hand back into her pocket. "Sorry." She mutters, in her low, raspy voice that sounds so very broken, and incredibly anxious. She averts her eyes from me for a moment, giving me the time to observe her.'

You can do everything right and nobody will see it, but the moment you make a mistake, that becomes the only thing you're known for.
