After Gus discovers Luz's old DnD collection, she decides to show the Hexsquad the magic of the tabletop roleplaying game... For better or worse. (NOTE: Takes place before Thanks to Them.)

With tensions between Humans and Witches running high since the introduction of the Human-Demon Exchange Program; Gus, Willow, Vee, and their friends launch a bold effort to rebuild trust between the realms. Although, as cultural clashes, political resistance, and hidden agendas threaten to unravel their efforts, the group uncovers clues linking recent unrest to a growing conspiracy.

It was a frenzied period of transition for everyone in the Boiling Isles. Belos was dead, the Day of Unity crisis was averted, the covens fell into disarray and fought amongst themselves for control of the empire, despite the Titan having chosen a successor. The Isles were teeming with new life after the conflict, courtesy of the new Empress. Under her rule, magic was no longer restricted and witches were free to pursue any types they wished. Eight years after the fall of Belos, the Owl House disappeared, its inhabitants nowhere to be found, save two. Ten years since she first set foot in the Demon Realm, Luz Noceda has settled in the city of Caja Torácica and married her longtime girlfriend, Amity Blight. They moved into the apartment above Viney's veterinary clinic together and began a new chapter in their lives founding Noceda Bounty Hunting and General Services. They don't know what became of their surrogate family, but they won't give up their search for the Owl House. Luz and Amity Noceda had thought their adventuring days were behind them, but with new career opportunities, encounters with beings from another Titan, corporate espionage, a looming confrontation with the notorious Owl Lady, and the prospect of beginning a family, they might be in for their wildest years yet.

Luz Noceda and her older sister Lucia have always been close even when Lucia moved to the other side of the world due to her position in the navy, their bond has never been broken. Luz, now fresh off from finishing freshman year, saves up enough money to visit Lucia for the summer. Luz's summer with Lucia gets cut short however, when they get separated with the arrival of humanity's greatest threat, GODZILLA. In a last ditch attempt to stop Belos from getting the Titan's Blood, Luz uses the last of her strength to do something more insane than anything she has ever done before. Luz Noceda was a half human half princess from the human realm, but when her mother had to go back to Bonesborough to be the queen to her kingdom, she took her two daughters with her and her husband died on the trip there. Raine Whispers and Eda Clawthorne needed an heir for the throne so when a fourteen-year-old girl stumbles into the castle after being caught vandalizing a street corner, they decided to make her the princess.

There were so many signs. So why was it that it only all came together and clicked in her head now? When she had reached her hand out, and the teen flinched away and looked at her with horrified eyes. He was holding his breath. Once he realized it was Camilla, his face loosened though his body stayed tense. "O-oh. Camilla it's just you. Did you need me for something?" He feigned a smile, like he hadn't just been terrified out of his mind. -or- Camilla notices Hunter's hypervigilance. When he flinches away from her, the puzzle comes together in her head.

Amity Blight is taken on a family vacation with her parents and twin siblings into the human realm. But her plans of a peaceful break have gone crashing down when she meets a human girl her age while exploring around the area. This won't be a tough love story where they can't be with each other because their parents forbid it or something like that. One will simply not reciprocate the others feelings.

Camila celebrates the memory of Luz on what would be her twenty-ninth birthday.
