After Luz left the boiling isles, the door was accidentally destroyed. Without a way back to the boiling isles, she stays in the human realm for the time being. During that time, her mother dies, killed by a yellow blur. Without any evidence of a murder, the police marks it off as a suicide. Luz is adopted by the wests. 4 years later, while working as an assistant in the forensics lab, she is struck by lightning the same time that the particle accelerator, and goes into a coma. After waking up, she learns that she has superspeed and becomes the flash. Now, 19, she finds Owlbert and goes through the door, back in the Boiling Isles. What will happen?

Luz Noceda works at a wonderful store called Hot Topic with her co-workers, King Clawthorne, Hooty, and Edalyn Clawthorne, her manager. But, being in a populated mall, you don't really get to decide who you work by. Amity Blight works at Claire's, the accessory store with her co-workers, Boscha, and Skara, her manager being a woman named Lilith Clawthorne. Though, you only read books for fluff, this one has some angst sprinkled on top. Overworked, understaffed, working hard to reach end's meet. Luz slowly starts to realize that she can fight for herself. Hooty doesn't have to be the joker. King can quit work because he's just eight! And Owlbert can learn to speak up after all these years. And do your friends a favor readers. Ask how they're REALLY doing. Let them be weak in front of you. Let yourselves be weak in front of them! And don't be scared to open up again. Amity's breath hitches in her throat, and she doesn't speak. "Can I kiss you?" Luz asks, her breath tickling Amity's lips. Without any hesitation Amity nods her head yes, her eyes still wide. She couldn't believe it. Was this actually happening or was she dreaming? Luz looks at Amity again, obviously nervous. She doesn't seem to move, so Amity does instead. She cups Luz's face with her hands and gently brings her closer, pressing her lips against Luz's. The hybrid lets out a muffled squeak of surprise, but doesn't pull away or try to stop Amity. After a moment Amity releases Luz and covers her mouth with her hand, her cheeks tinted pink. Luz says nothing, and her ears lower, the tips of them red. "Wow." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Luz Clawthorne-Noceda had always lived in the demon realm along with Camila and Eda, her moms. She'd never gotten along with Amity Blight, but a witch's duel and a whole lot of magic changed that quicker than she ever thought it could. ⚠ All characters are the same ages as in the show ⚠ This story was completed on around 1:35 on July 31st, 2022 with a total word count of 61,250 words.

'I'm sorry, but there was nothing I could have done to prevent it from happening,' Not only was The Owl lady the most powerful witch in the Boiling Isles, but she was once the companion of one the most kind and noble yet controversial beings the Universe had to offer. "oh, i know magic, pretty girl." eda speaks before she thinks - as usual. she coughs when her words process, a light pink spreading on her cheeks. it was easy to see, especially in contrast to her pale skin. "pretty-pretty good. i, uhm, i know magic pretty good." she lets out a dry chuckle, an attempt to hide her embarrassment.
