They become close friends, but Rose realizes that her feelings for him may have shifted from platonic to romantic. Is it too late for her to make a move? It wasn't until age 10 when her abuela died that she was given into the care of the head of the Madrigals. Growing up with the Madrigals wasn't easy. Even if the expectations Alma set for her own family aren't for her she still has the need to meet them. Why? Is it to prove something? Whatever it was she figured that maybe helping the community wasn't so bad. That was until Alma blew up on Mirabel. Let's just say Karla lives for the ones she loves so how will it go if she decides to stop playing pawn. And even before that happens what will she experience with well the curly haired chameleon. This is a story made for fun y'all. Just wanted to say and that it's a slow burn Camilo x OC, some Spanish in it, and I don't own this movie or the character except mine. Camilo slowly falls in love with a girl from town, Estella Alvarez! A stubborn girl who is tough on everyone, but has a soft spot for Camilo :) Estella's parents leave her with her younger brother as they go on a business trip. She was never familiar with the Madrigal family, she had only talked to each individual member around 3 times her whole life. She had always lived in the town of the Encanto What would happen with her now being alone there? Hey! So you're a Brazilian girl, Rio Santos and recently after your Vovó (grandma) passed, you had decided to visit her childhood friend Alma Madrigal. If you spot any type of error in the book feel free to correct me.

Y/N used to live in Encanto along with their dad and mom, and they were the best of friends with Maribel from la familia Madrigal. But soon after Maribel's failed ceremony, Y/N's family has to go back to Spain, and they lose their hope of ever seeing that family she loves so much ever again. It isn't until 13 years later that they finally return to Encanto, this time looking for answers about why their dad never made it back from his expedition... But maybe the truth is more complicated than they think, and maybe they find some unexpected feelings for someone while they stay once more with Los Madrigal... This is a Camilo X reader fanfic, tho I wanted to give the reader's character a bit more of background to make it more interesting. This is supposed to take place after the movie, and all characters are aged up 3 years since I find the canon ones a bit weird, so for example both Mirabel and Camilo are 18, as well as you (might have something to do with specific scenes that might appear later on...).
