This is the third installment to 'A Legend Changes'. Arthur is dead, Merlin has left the scene and Elara is left balancing her decisions on a very thin knife edge. The Saxons have invaded and taken her home from her. With a small plan that could go horribly wrong, Elara and her knights try to bring back the peace and end Cheldric's control and Mordred's life... for good. Though she cannot hope to do this alone and the answer may be simpler than she can imagine.

This is the sequel to 'A Legend Changes', it continues from where the first book finishes yet skips between more than the two main characters. Before you read this, if you haven't already, I suggest reading the first novel otherwise it may be difficult to understand what is going on in some chapters or scenes and to know who is who exactly. After Elara is taken, Delrand sets out to discover where Mordred is keeping her. At the same time, Arthur starts to plan what he needs to do in order to prevent the upcoming war with Mordred's magician army. After struggling to get to her, Delrand finally finds his love and discovers that Elara has changed in more ways than one. Her instincts from all her years of training kick in once more and she takes a small trip to a hidden lake where she meets a mysterious woman.
