Chloe Carter first met Shannon Beveridge when she was 9 years old, eventually they became like sisters however, Shannon then leaves for college and the distance between the two grew. Chloe is finally celebrating her 18th birthday with her friends, after coming back home she had an party that her parents planned, she arrives home when she finds Shannon with her new girlfriend, Cammie Scott.

Shannon feels as if she's alone because her bestfriend Stevie has spent less time with her given her new relationship with Ally. Little does she know Stevie is a better friend than she thinks.
