Each year, or sometimes every couple of years, the world watches as a handful of individuals are chosen to participate in The Great Game. A brutal, high-stakes competition where between fourteen to twenty players must navigate an entire town, dodging obstacles, deceiving adversaries, and ultimately racing to the final checkpoint-a shopping mall with a sprawling underground complex.
One of the most dangerous and unique mechanics of The Great Game is the ability to change one's face-but only to that of an NPC. A single touch allows a player to assume the face of a common villager, a beggar, a merchant. But if an NPC sees someone shift their face, they will assume the player is a monster and may turn against them. And if another player witnesses the change, they will know exactly who is hiding beneath the disguise.
Alliances are shattered within seconds. Knives flash, fists connect, and bodies fall before they even reach the first obstacle.
The final stretch-the parking lot beneath the mall-is where all disguises drop. Faces return to normal. No more illusions. Just the raw, unfiltered desperation of those who have made it this far.
Victory
Everything froze. The world reset. The violence, the betrayals, the deaths-erased.
The game was over.
The world moved on. No grudges held. No crimes remembered.
Just another season of The Great Game.
