But when it's the last week of camp, David seems to notice some strange emotions that come from Max. So in order for David to recognize Max's emotions and how he feels, he must look out for him at all times. While Max, yet still has trouble opening up to the one person who genuinely seems to care about him. WARNING!! This story contains elements such as abuse, bruises, and injuries. So please be warned and if you are sensitive to elements like these, reconsider the thought of reading my story! Max finds himself in Oregon after David takes on a job at a national park. With everything so bleak and dreary Max doesn't think that he'll ever enjoy living there. But things start to look up for Max at the discovery of a small door in their living room...
