Hey all, My name is Jarrod Walsh, I'm an Australian veteran and a Warhammer nerd, inspired by the campfire storytelling of Old Bale Eye from Warhammer+. This is my take on that style - told like a legend from the 41st millennium, but grounded in something real. Not the polished version you hear growing up, but the kind of truth you learn when you've worn the uniform. In war, it's never really about empire, faith, or command... ...it's about the mate beside you. Written and published on ANZAC Day. Lest we forget.

“All is fair in sugar and buttercrème.” When her mom has to make a trip to L.A. for her bakery, Just Sprinkles, Serenity thinks she’s coming along to scope out the competition and kick some major butt, when really her mom has signed her up for Frosted, a baking camp shaping the young culinary bakers of tomorrow. And if that weren't enough, she meets the one and only Ayden Callaway: Baker extraordinaire, Son of New York’s hottest bakery owner, five year winner at Frosted and an…cocky egoistic jerk face! At Frosted a major prize is at stake this year. Bigger than any prize given out the years before, and it’s time for Ayden to retire from number one and let Serenity have a shot. He’s certainly not going down without a fight and everyone’s willing to go to extreme measures to win, including Serenity. She’s ready to beat Ayden at his own game that is until the event takes a drastic turn. For better or worse? You’ll have to read to find out.

Looking good on paper is one thing. Actually being the things you imply about yourself is an entire different story. I'm not very sociable-- And when it comes down to it, sneaking past security guards and hiding your identity in the city isn't quite what a good salesman looks like, is it? Hence the need for extracurricular activities that'll make me look good! Being part of the Caldera Family, good grades and a portfolio of dangerous inventions simply won't be enough to put me through the doors of a university. Mother fears for the family reputation- but attending a summer camp to make myself look good would be harmless to us! In fact, she should be thanking me. Again. Another small story I wrote for a close friend in a low mood. She feels like she's using me. But I assure her, I will always do these things if it makes her even the slightest bit happier.

Just a sample of my newest story. About a girl named Karina and her friends who get to go on a fun field trip with their school. Karina learns more about herself, her friends, and about love. It's a teenage love story :) It's more intresting than I make it sound. Hahaha. Please read and let me know wat u think so far!
