Just a couple of stories my dad has passed down to me. They are scary stories meant to be told by the dimly lit area around a campfire. The only really safe place when you are camping so do not put yourself in the dark afterwards. HAHAHAHAHAHA.

I like to write short horror stories and I decided to share my work.

Just a short story I made a long time ago for a horror writing competition. I came across it agian and figured why not post it? The Optimism Bias is thinking that bad things are less likely to happen to you. It's the feeling of, yes, people's houses burn down, but that won't happen to me. People are inclined to belive that positive things are more likely to happen than negative things.
