The bracelets countdown to the exact second someone might meet their soul mate. But what happens when someone resists the idea of the bracelets? Shay Mitchell, doesn't want to be with her 'soul mate'; she wants to find her own soul mate, someone who she truly loves and not someone that their government says she has to love. When she meets Caleb, she knows she will be with him somehow. Caleb Dawson, forever and always will hate the bracelets. After his older sister ran off with someone other than her 'soul mate', he knew he wanted to follow her. Here are some haikus that I wrote during Camp NaNoWriMo in April 2014. My main project was a SF novella, but these popped into my head in the evenings (as one might guess from the themes they touch on, haha). I thought they deserved their own story/album.
