Matthew was all but a young lad when his parents were killed. It seemed as though the people he was close to would be murdered just like that. Such trauma caused extreme isolation, he refused to talk nor look at anybody. Nobody noticed his pain and suffering. Not until he came across the murderer himself. A slow-paced fanfiction. Matthew reflects on his life at his younger brother's costume party, and finds himself in the company of a close companion. Through casual, flirtatious banter - and developing feelings that have been long sense suppressed - him and Gilbert kiss in a frenzy induced by thoughts and the heat of the moment.

Matthew Williams. A name many forget. He has always been forgotten. It's always been this way. It will never change. If only they knew it was tearing him apart. Death didn't seem like a bad idea. Aaahh!! I love PruCan so much! I can't believe I don't have a fanfic, even if it's just a shortfic, for them up on Wattpad yet! I spent like, probably three hours writing this. I'm really kinda proud of it, honestly cx Anyway, the song I kinda based it off of is Travelin' Soldier by the Dixie Chicks. If anything's wrong, feel free to correct me. Prussia seems to be the only one to notice Canada. Every world meeting, Prussia would glance(stare) at the quiet country to see if he would look back, and sure enough, he was. But whenever Prussia turned, Canada would look away, a blush forming on his cheeks.

Matthew's brother, Alfred, is in a band with two friends from High School, but Matthew never met any of these friends because he lived with his father in Canada whilst Alfred lived with their mother in America. Matthew moves to America to live with Alfred and run the small cafe their mother left behind after her death. That's where he meets him. The demon-eyed-frosty-the-snowman. A.k.a Gilbert, the guitarist in the band. Gilbert, however, thinks since he's rich and famous that everyone must love him, so it comes to a shock when the little Canadian doesn't give in.
