Welcome to the part of the page where the lights go low. 🌒 VERBS is a collection of dark, contemporary free verse - where love is haunted, words bleed, and every stanza feels like the hook of your favorite gothic track. If you vibe with dark themes, magic, or ever wished True Blood had more poetry between the fangs... this is for you. Expect themes of longing, lust, sorrow, power, shadows, and soft rage. A little witchy, a little romantic, a little ruined - always real.

Night fell quickly, and with surprise. The air crisp and smoked. He was back in her mind. She grasped the wheel, not realizing how tight her grip had become. Before long it hurt her to hold on. But like the memory of him, she couldn't let go. Miles of asphalt kept her away. But her heart and soul was always at his doorstep. The moment he smiled with that sweet innocence, to the day it turned to lust. Her knuckles pulsing, mind racing to the thought of what he shared. She dare not smile, or they'd question her happiness. Everyday it repeats again. Only the moon keeps her hopeful. This life so cruel. What had she done? Would their day ever come? But soon the lights blinded her dreams. The time had passed, she never found the nerve. She could only think of all the words she'd wished, she could say. Awaken again tomorrow, to a new broken day.

Be the quiet that she desires Speak only to her heart In words, like whispers on the wind Be brave without clout And modest in your bravado Dress to be yourself Not to measure up Realize soon, that she wants little And even less, than you can buy She fills her pockets with memories And carries hopes on her shoulders She does not know how to envy Only how to reward With solemn kisses Moist and tender Hard and ravenous With a gentle caress And nails bared deep into flesh She holds like a storm Just long enough to bring worry But she'll leave with a silence Deafening Patient A chill to every bone For she hurts as hard as she loves She feels as deeply as she forgets And this wall she lives within is impenetrable Not by war or desire Would it ever fall Because she is eternity She is destiny She is reality Forever the compass That has sunk a thousand ships Simply to prove That she can. Love her Fear her with passion Give her your promise And when the tide begins to turn Be the quiet that she desires.

I don't really update this story much. I'm really bad at age ratings but I'd suggest 12 or 13+.
