People say some promises are meant to be broken. I don't believe that. My sister asked me to make her one promise, and I'd do anything to keep it-even if it means putting my own life on hold. But no one tells you that grief changes people. That time keeps moving, even when you're begging it to stop. Or that the hardest promises to keep are the ones that ask you to let go. If I could go back, I'd choose her every time. Instead, all I can do is hope I'm strong enough to keep the last promise I ever made.

I'm 38 years old and I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer . This is my own personal story thru chemotherapy , radiation therapy and surgeries.

And here's the thing, I could add so much more about the entire journey of what's going on at home, our family life, etc. This story will I will just try to keep it about what I felt and saw at the center.
