It's funny. This thing that we call life. Millions of events connected and suspended above us in space and time. How quickly things can change. One moment you feel like you are on top of the world and the next instant you are in the murderous depths of hell. Two perspectives. A simple story told by two people. My mum always said that there were two sides to every story, mainly when she was reading to me. I used to daydream about the two different perspectives of Little Red Riding Hood and the Wolf. Was the wolf really the bad guy? However, that was before my older brother Simon got his first gold star in Kindergarten. All focus was immediately shifted on him instead of the focus that we had shared for the past two years. I've grown up with a supportive older brother who does try to make sure I have my own share of attention, a less supportive mother whose focus it always on my brother, a blog and a camera. Well that's only a brief description about my life but that isn't what this book is about. It is a book about two perspectives, the two sides to every story and how easily things can change. It's also a story about the quiet boy with scars down his back, who doesn't want to live anymore and the girl he fell for. A series of events connecting two people who would otherwise live separate lives with separate people. A story of love, hardship, suicide, cancer, photography and abuse. And that's only the beginning.

"To die will be an awfully big adventure." As many as the Diggory siblings read over the line neither one of them were expecting to experience or witness death at such a young age. But it is the only line that Thea can focus on after her brother was murdered during the Triwizard Tournament. Every night since it happened, Thea finds herself with the book in her lap, her parents haven't spoken since the funeral and it's almost like she doesn't exist anymore. She was never really out there to begin with, not like Cedric but at least he paid attention to her, he reminded her that she was special, even during times that she didn't believe it. When it comes time to return to school, Thea suddenly finds herself surrounded by people. People that have never spoken to her in the six years that she's attended Hogwarts. All of them, offering their condolences, willing to lend a listening ear if she wished to talk about it, but what was there to talk about? Cedric was dead, and he wasn't coming back. She doesn't want to speak with these strangers, she doesn't want their pity, all Thea wants is to be left alone. There is one soul that can see how much the girl is hurting without her brother, but he's seen the faces she's given whenever someone approaches. George Weasley understands he can't approach Thea as he normally would with others. But all he wants to do is see her smile again because seeing Thea's distraught face does not settle well with him at all. So, he starts off small, tripping over his own feet around her, in hopes of getting a laugh. However, it doesn't seem to work until the first frost comes and while he isn't trying to fall, he slips on ice dragging his brother down with him and finally, he hears a laugh. Things are going missing around Hogwarts. Everything from quills to chocolate to cheap or priceless jewelry. No one is safe from the mysterious thief, not even the professors. Dumbledore has lost a purple robe with galaxies twirling around the fabric and Flitwick has lost several stacks of papers that needed grading. Few people escaped the thief and those that were left alone were questioning why. Why them? What made them different from everyone else? The Marauders have yet to lose anything to the thief. It was the beginning of their sixth year and everything was going swimmingly. The key word here is "was", because soon they lost something incredibly important. They lost the map. The Marauder's map vanished a few days into the school year. It didn't grow legs and walk away, they made sure to protect it from something like that. Hogwarts resident thief had struck again, and this time, the victims would do everything in their considerable power to find out who was behind the theft. During their investigation, Remus happens to slam into a fellow Gryffindor, Estrella Quinn. The two become close and before they know it, they're dating. But each is hiding a secret from the other.
